I’m currently based in Singapore, and most likely frolicking around the studio now.
A Movement Artist, Choreographer, Interdisciplinary Collaborator and an Educator, Goh Shou Yi’s curiosity has empowered him to embrace a multitude of roles. Shou Yi has been actively collaborating with both local and international artists to create and present dance choreographies and performances in various platforms & festivals. Fascinated by the relationship between the body and society, Shou Yi is fervently driven to explore this profound relationship through a multifaceted lens. He actively collaborates across diverse interdisciplinary fields to contribute significantly in this exploration.

Mai: “Getting to work with Shou Yi whom I was unfamiliar with meant that I naturally was more reserved in my conversations with him - what could be said, and what could not. This tension was very real, and it contributed to what NAKA was about: our outer and inner states of mind - what could be observed, and what couldn't be."
